Objectives:
Taisei Learning Center was organized to teach Japanese language to Japanese persons and others who are interested in Japan residing in Portland area, and to help them become familiar with Japanese culture.

Curriculum Our Center:
•    Small classroom atmosphere
•    7:30 AM to 6:00 PM for the weeks of June 22 and July 27. (before and after childcare is optional )
•    Class from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM
•    Activities include Japanese language, arts and crafts, social studies, computers, math, games, etc.　
•    Age: Grade 2-12 age groups welcome
•    Conveniently located adjacent to Uwajimaya in Beaverton
 

Academic Learning:　
Students will study History, World Geography, Math, and Japanese every day.

Japanese Learning:　
Students will be able to learn Japanese language and culture with his/her individual level and interests by experienced teachers.

Our curriculum integrated into technology.　
 We will use computers to learn Social Study project so that students will be able to learn how to research subjects using the Internet.

 Hands-On Activities:　
Students will learn with hands-on style activities such as using clay to figure out and model the shape of the country and states, and creating traditional Japanese crafts to feel part of learning about Japanese culture, listening to J-pop and so on.

 Fees:
•    Half Day $120/week (Morning or Afternoon)
•    All Day $180/week (9:00-4:00)
•    After childcare $30/week additional (4:00-6:00)
•    All day with before & after childcare included $230 (Weeks of June 22 and July 27 only)
•    Please bring your own snacks, lunch, and drinks.
